Program Description The purpose of this program is to educate nurse anesthetists on the utility and clinical value of High-flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO) during procedures conducted in the endoscopy suite. The session covers mechanisms of action, explores current literature on HFNO in procedural settings, and outlines how HFNO can enhance patient safety and oxygenation during procedural sedation.
Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
It is estimated that this activity will take approximately 1 hour to complete. To receive 1 credit, the learner must receive a minimum score of 80% on the post-test. Only 1 attempt is permitted to reach the 80% score.
The certificate of completion is available for download once all requirements have been met. The certificate is also stored and accessible via the learner’s secure online dashboard and can be re-downloaded on demand at any time once they have completed the activity.
