You are invited to join us for this informative course with speaker Dr. Thomas Durick, M.D. who will:

  • Review the mechanisms and clinical benefits of High Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO). 
  • Identify patient factors that indicate appropriate application of HFNO. 
  • Discuss the clinical use of HFNO to improve safety and throughput during monitored anesthesia care (spontaneous breathing). 
  • Explain HFNO for apneic oxygenation in peri-intubation scenarios. 
  • Describe HFNO for extubation and post-anesthesia care to facilitate faster recovery. 
  • Identify cost savings and resource optimization opportunities when implementing HFNO.
